for storytellers
Five settings keep your video looking exactly how you shot it.
1080p
Shoot or Export at 1080p. Uforia plays at 1080p, so a 4K file only gets shrunk down.
MP4
H.264 or HEVC, the format your phone already records. A clip straight from your camera roll is ready as it is.
Standard color
Turn HDR or Dolby Vision off in your camera so the colors stay true on every screen.
About 8 Mbps
This is your data rate, sometimes labelled bitrate in your editor: how much detail each second of video carries. It quietly decides everything. Stay near these and your video uploads exactly as you exported it. Push it much higher and it just gets recompressed, which softens it.
| 1080p, 30fps | about 8 Mbps |
|---|---|
| 1080p, 60fps | 10 to 12 Mbps |
| HEVC (H.265) | near 7 Mbps |
AAC sound
Standard on every phone. Nothing to change.
Do all five and your video goes up exactly as you exported it. Full quality, no re-encoding.
Editing on a desktop? Encode in HEVC, it’s the cleanest way through.
Got a bigger or 4K file? Upload it anyway. Uforia handles the rest.
Up to 3 minutes. Up to 500 MB.
AV1 coming soon ;)
It’s okay to be U.
