Refund & Cancellation Policy

Uforia Networks Private Limited

This refund and cancellation policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) defines the protocols for refunds and cancellations of services rendered by Uforia Networks Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Our” and “Us”) through the Uforia platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”). The users of the Platform (hereinafter referred to as “You” and “Your”) are kindly requested to peruse this Policy carefully.

By making a purchase through the Platform, You hereby accept the terms and conditions contained in this Policy.

  1. 1.

    DEFINITIONS

Unless otherwise defined herein and context otherwise requires, the capitalised terms used in this Policy shall have the meanings set out below:

  1. a.

    Account” means the registered account used to access the Platform.

  2. b.

    “Consumable” means a virtual item, credit, token, allowance, or similar digital good that is purchased by a user which may be used, redeemed, or depleted through use of the Platform, and are reduced upon consumption.

  3. c.

    Subscription Plan” means any recurring paid plan offered by the Company.

  4. d.

    “Third-Party App Store” means any third-party platform or marketplace through which the Platform is distributed, advertised, downloaded, installed, licensed, purchased, or otherwise made available to users.

    PURCHASES THROUGH APPLE AND GOOGLE

All in-app purchases within the Platform are processed through Third-Party App Stores. Please note that Your relationships with Third-Party App Stores are governed by the respective terms and conditions incorporated by such third-parties.

The Platform does not collect, store, or process your payment card information and is not the merchant of record for in-app purchases. The Third-Party App Store through which You have completed the payment is responsible for processing payments and determining whether a refund will be granted.

Accordingly, all refund requests must first be submitted directly through the Third-Party App Store from which the purchase was made.

Apple reviews and decides refund requests in accordance with its policies.

For the Google Play Store

To request a refund, visit: play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory

Google reviews and decides refund requests in accordance with its policies

If Your request is denied and You believe the denial resulted from a billing error, duplicate charge, technical malfunction, unauthorised purchase, or similar issue, You may contact Us through the in-app support function or by emailing Us at: support@tryuforia.com.

    SUBSCRIPTION-BASED SERVICES

The Platform offers auto-renewing Subscription Plans that provide access to premium features and benefits.

Subscription Plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date through the respective Third-Party App Store.

The applicable subscription fee, duration, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel Your Subscription Plan at any time through the subscription settings section of the relevant Third-Party App Store.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate a refund for any subscription fees already paid.

Unless otherwise required by law, subscription charges are non-refundable for partially used billing periods.

Effect of Refunds

If You are granted a refund for a Subscription Plan purchase by the Third-Party App Store, the corresponding subscription benefits will be immediately removed and Your Account will revert to the free tier.

  1. 4.

    ONE-TIME IN-APP PURCHASES

The Platform may offer Consumables such as hearts, supernovas, and similar virtual items as one-time purchases.

These purchases are credited to Your Account immediately after successful payment.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, purchases of Consumables are final and non-refundable.

Effect of Refunds

If any Third-Party App Store grants You a refund for a Consumables purchase, the Platform may deduct from Your Account any refunded Consumables that remain unused at the time the refund is processed.

Consumable credits that have already been used, redeemed, or consumed cannot be restored or recovered.

Under no circumstances will Your Consumable credit balance become negative as a result of a refund.

  1. 5.

    AUTO-RENEWALS

Subscription Plans renew automatically at the price and for the duration disclosed at the time of purchase unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, You must cancel through the respective Third-Party App Store at least 24 hours before renewal.

Deleting the Platform from Your device does not cancel an active subscription.

  1. 6.

    SUSPENDED AND TERMINATED ACCOUNTS

Users whose Accounts are suspended or terminated for violating the Platform’s terms and conditions, community guidelines, or applicable law are not entitled to refunds.

Nothing in this section limits Your ability to submit a refund request directly to the concerned Third-Party App Store by means of their respective refund processes.

  1. 7.

    FOR USERS IN EU, EEA, UK AND SWITZERLAND

If You are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, applicable consumer protection laws may grant You a statutory right of withdrawal in certain circumstances.

By purchasing a Subscription Plan or Consumable item and requesting immediate access to the purchased digital content or services, You expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that You may lose any applicable withdrawal right once access to the purchased content or services has been granted, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Your consent and acknowledgement with respect to this waiver are recorded at the time of Your purchase.

    JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any non-waivable rights that You may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Where local law provides a right to cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other remedy that cannot be excluded, those rights will prevail to the extent required by law.

    CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Policy periodically.

Any updated version will be posted within the Platform and will become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.

    GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL (INDIA)

In accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the name and contact details of the Nodal cum Grievance Officer who can be contacted for any complaints or concerns pertaining to the Platform, including Our refund and cancellation guidelines as per this Policy, are published as under:

We request You to kindly exhaust the option to contact Our customer support by using the information provided under Section 11 herein before opting for the grievance redressal procedure. The grievance redressal mechanism shall only be utilised in relation to any complaints, grievances or concerns that You feel are not appropriately addressed by Our customer support team.
